The Kulm Hotel, as the cradle of winter tourism and the first hotel of St. Moritz, looks back on 160 years of characterizing history. Today, traditional origins are skillfully combined with modernity, resulting in receiving GaultMillau’s "Hotel of the Year 2018" award. The 172 rooms and suites offer spectacular views of the mountains and Lake St. Moritz. New dimensions of well-being are presented by the ultra-modern, 2,000 m² Kulm Spa. Seven restaurants, each with a different ambience, invite guests to enjoy culinary delights. This winter, the Kulm Country Club is not only serving a modern, light quality cuisine with local, fresh ingredients in a cosy ambiance, but also sets the stage for the Gourmet Dîners.
Executive Chef Mauro Taufer
Mauro Taufer is looking forward to his second winter season at the Kulm Hotel. As the Executive Chef, he is responsible for the culinary delights served at all seven restaurants of the Kulm Hotel. He cultivates classical French cuisine by using it as a basis for his creative dishes and combining it with Italian Mediterranean influences. He gained practical experience at the Hotel Gritti Palace and the Hotel Danieli in Venice as well as in further internationally famous establishments.
