The restaurants at the Grand Hotel Kronenhof offer a wide variety of culinary delights: in the Grand Restaurant, one of the most beautiful neo-baroque restaurants in the Swiss hotel industry, guests can dine and enjoy a sensational wine list with the region's most impressive wines - it is not unusual to find the finest wines. The award-winning gourmet restaurant Kronenstübli with 16 GaultMillau points also serves an outstanding dinner. Visitors can enjoy a light lunch in the sun on the wooden terrace of the pavilion. For a decade, chef Fabrizio Piantanida has been delighting guests at the Grand Hotel Kronenhof with his culinary expertise. His cuisine is a fused ode to classic French and traditional Italian gastronomy, spiced up with Mediterranean influences. Together with his team, he creates creative dishes, often inspired by his travel experiences. A passionate fisherman and mushroom picker, Piantanida is known for his dedication to using local and fresh market produce in his cuisine. This emphasis on regional ingredients is reflected in many of his outstanding dishes.
