Emmanuel Renaut, a true icon of the culinary world, will be taking part in the St. Moritz Gourmet Festival as a special guest. The French top chef is internationally celebrated for his outstanding culinary skills and incomparable creativity. Renaut’s passion for fine cuisine was awakened at a young age. Inspired by the culinary traditions of his hometown of Lyon, he honed his skills in various renowned restaurants and developed a unique culinary signature. His cooking style is a perfect symbiosis of classic sophistication and innovative exception. Each of Renaut’s dishes is a work of art in itself, a perfect interplay of flavours, textures and colours touching all the senses. The Guide Michelin has also been impressed by Renaut’s tireless dedication to perfection and his pursuit of culinary excellence, and awarded him three of its coveted Michelin stars, the first time being 2012. In his restaurant “Flocons de Sel” in the French Alps, Emmanuel Renaut emphasises his culinary vision down to the last detail. Tradition and innovation merge to create a unique culinary experience. He finds inspiration for his menus in the surrounding mountains of the Alp region, which offers a wealth of the best ingredients - such as rose hips, wild blackberries and gentian, porcini mushrooms, chanterelles and plenty of vegetables. The nature-loving chef uses them again and again to conjure up new creative dishes that spark emotions and delight guests from all over the globe.
