Executive chef Gero Porstein
At the head of the Waldhaus kitchen brigade is Chef Gero Porstein. The native German can look back on a longstanding culinary career in Switzerland. With his experience and innovative ideas, he puts his own very personal signature under Waldhaus cuisine.
Together with his team of 22 chefs, he manages to conjure nothing less than the traditional tastes of the Waldhaus onto the plate. In harmony with the Fex Valley, the Engadine and Switzerland, the kitchen crew chooses their produce wisely and with great care and refines them with know-how and skill into contemporary cuisine, without losing sight of culinary heritage.
