Carlton Hotel

The luxurious five-star Carlton Hotel St. Moritz seduces all the senses with an extravagantly colourful ambience, cuisine of the highest order and a munificence without parallel. The 60 suites and junior suites furnished with the finest materials by Swiss interior designer Carlo Rampazzi offer the highest level of comfort. All the suites are south-facing and offer a breathtaking view over the lake and the mountains. This view is one of the reasons the Carlton has been awarded Forbes’ coveted five-star rating.

The two restaurants Romanoff and Da Vittorio, St. Moritz (2 Michelin star and 18 GaultMillau points) serve top-class cuisine in an authentic and informal setting. Furthermore, the Carlton Bar & Lobby - said by Forbes to be among the 45 best bars in the world - invites guests to relax on its ample sun terrace with view over Lake St. Moritz.

Executive Chef Max Herzog

Max Herzog joined the team of the Carlton Hotel St. Moritz as Culinary Director in August 2020, having previously worked in other legendary luxury hotels such as the Grand Hotel des Bains Kempinski, the Suvretta House and the Park Gstaad. In this newly created position, Max Herzog will be responsible for the continuous development of the F&B outlets of the Carlton Hotel. The aim is to continually and even more vigorously adapt the culinary offerings of the hotel to meet the changing and varied demands of the hotel's guests and to make conscious enjoyment a tangible experience. "To inspire - to create inspiring experiences and also to surprise a little, that is our highest priority. The guests give us their time and it is our task to give it a value. Products of the highest quality, creativity and culinary technology are only the means to an end," explains Max Herzog.
