Monchiero Carbone - Roero, the new trend in Piemont
A perfect symbiosis created from a 3-star four-course menu and spectacular white and excellent red wines: once again, the Suvretta House together with Ueli Schiess, owner of Caratello Wines St.Gallen, invites guests to a culinary experience in a class of its own. The guest winemaker is Francesco Monchiero Carbone from the Azienda of the same name in Roero and knows his craft perfectly. The family's traditional winery in Piedmont focuses on hand-picked wines and outstanding quality. The innovative and perfectionist winemaker is awarded for this - as the first ever - twice in a row with the coveted "Tre Bicchieri". The wines thus provide the perfect backdrop for the dishes of three-star chef Julien Royer from Singapore. He, too, continues to set new culinary standards of the highest quality. Royer celebrates exquisite ingredients in perfect harmony in his dishes and was awarded 14th place in the "World's 50 Best Restaurant" this year.
