Silvena Rowe proves just how good healthy cuisine can taste. The Bulgarian-Turkish celebrity chef is considered one of the leading “wellness chefs” in the Gulf region, dedicating herself entirely to the topic of healthy food. Her menus consist of regional, nutrient-rich superfoods, which she constantly re-combines to create new, colourful taste experiences that promote well-being and support a healthy lifestyle. As co-owner, Rowe helped establish the restaurant “Omnia” in Dubai, which is known for its sugar-free desserts, among other delicacies. For five years, “Omnia” has figured among the 100 best restaurants in Dubai and won the UAE award “Best Healthy Restaurant”, as well as the “Innovation Chef of the Year” award. Currently, Silvena Rowe runs the café “Al Botanica” and the restaurants “Nassau” and “Indian Kitchen by Chef Silvena” in the prestigious golf and country club “Jumeriah Golf Estates.” She is also active on TV, where she has already appeared on the British TV programme “Saturday Kitchen” and can be seen as a guest judge on the programme “Masterchef Bulgaria.” She looks back on a proud 35 years of experience and has already written nine cookbooks - two of them award-winning. In addition, Silvena Rowe has been campaigning for years on behalf of female chefs, who are still in the minority in the industry and at times face major challenges.
