Ferragamo - Schuhmacher und Weinbauer

It has become a tradition at the Gourmet Festival that the Suvretta House invites guests to a gourmet evening with Ueli Schiess, owner of Caratello Wines St. Gallen, and the current guest chef, Sami Tamimi. Culinary delights are offered, the food and wine are of course perfectly matched. This year’s guest winemaker is Salvatore Ferragamo, son of the famous shoemaker and fashion designer dynasty, who looks after the winery that belongs to the Ferragamo family’s dreamlike resort il Borro in Tuscany. Following the family’s maxims of beauty, quality, and sustainability, Salvatore Ferragamo is also responsible for the wine production, where he also reaches the highest level. Guests will be served his wines alongside Sami Tamimi's (bestseller author and co-founder of the Ottolenghi restaurants) wonderful four-course work of art. Pure enjoyment!
